Course Description
This course focuses on the professional role and discipline of nursing. Students will examine the image of
nursing and develop strategies for improvement. Standards of professional practice will be discussed in relation
to the profession, role, and value behavior.

NUR/391 Policies
Students are required to achieve a minimum grade of “C” (2.0) in this course. Students who fail to earn a
minimum grade of “C” in this course will be scholastically disqualified from the university.
