Although previous shipments to overseas have been smooth in the past, orders that are shipped to countries outside of Hong
Kong may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. Recipient of an international
shipment may be subject to such fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the designation country. Additional charges
for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. Kaplan has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they
may be. Although Kaplan will ship any products you order to the address you provide, customs policies vary widely from
country to country. You should contact your local customs office for further information before placing an order. When
customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Most orders make it
through customs fine; however, if for whatever reason the package is seized by Customs Officials, Kaplan will not issue you a
refund unless all products are returned to us in their original condition and you are still responsible for any shipping charges
incurred. By ordering from Kaplan, you are stating that you are aware of this policy. Don’t worry though, Kaplan rarely
encounter this problem with shipments to HKUST students, faculty and alumni in the past.
Exchange Policy
Sales of products are final, non-refundable and non-returnable once order is placed and payment have been
received by Kaplan. Defective audio and video products may be replaced for the same product within 14 days of
the date of delivery. If you return the product to Kaplan, you will be the exporter from the destination country. Title
and risk of loss transfer to us upon receipt at Kaplan office address. Original receipt must be presented upon
replacement.
