GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS for
Simply Spray ® Soft Fabric Paint:
To make a Scrunch tie dye:
• Prewash and dry fabric to remove sizing. Do not use fabric
softener as this will affect the absorbancy of your fabric.
• Protect work area with newspaper.
• Put cardboard between layers of garment to prevent paint
from soaking through fabric to back.
Simply Spray is permanent!
• Shake can well before using.
• Tear off safety tab.
• To get used to the feel of the trigger,
practice spraying first on scrap fabric or paper.
"Scrunch" the fabric with fingers.
Apply first color.
• Hold can 6 to 8 inches away from project.
• Maintain firm, even pressure on trigger, do not pump.

To make a Spiral tie dye:
TIP: To avoid spatter, start your spray on a
paper towel. Then, while spraying, move onto
your project and continue spraying back onto
the paper towel before letting go of the trigger.

center of the shirt.
Spray first color. Gently
unfold shirt and repeat
twist and spray with
additional colors as
desired.
• Let dry approximately
one hour before wearing.
• Wait 72 hours to wash,
no need to heat set. Do not
use fabric softener. Tumble dry
on low, turn inside out.
Simply Spray washes off hands with soap & water!
RE-USING & STORING CANS: Clean tip of nozzle between
each use. Tip the can upside down and spray to clear nozzle
and wipe off the outside. When not using paint or to store
partially used cans, make sure the trigger is pushed out in
the “off” position.

All colors work with black which gives depth to any project!
Note: Brite Orange works well with warm colors, but blending
with green, blue or purple can create a brownish color.
For multiple spirals, make repeated,
smaller twists all over shirt.
To use a Resist:
Using spray adhesive,
lightly glue down
foam cut-outs or any
objects to areas that
you want to resist a
spray of color.
