Eureka Springs Zombie Scavenger Hunt Team Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement.
Each team member must read these terms carefully and sign below if you agree. Players under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign for them.
You May Get Hurt. I hereby agree to obey the rules and regulations of the Zombie Scavenger Hunt on September 19, 2014 taking place in Downtown Eureka Springs, and
hereby indemnify and hold harmless the event organizers, EZOMB LLC, affiliates, related parties, advertisers, judges, partners, sponsors, volunteers, heirs, assigns, next of kin,
Eureka Springs Parks and Recreation, Eureka Springs Downtown Network, and the City of Eureka Springs for any injury from known and unknown risks, loss of property,
misfortune, accident, allergic reaction caused by makeup or costume, acts of god, acts of negligence, claims or demands that may be made by any third party, due to or arising out
of my conduct or participation in the Zombie Scavenger Hunt. I also understand that scavenger hunts are physically demanding and potentially hazardous, and that I should not
participate unless I am medically able. I assume all risks associated with my participation in the Zombie Scavenger Hunt on September 19, 2014, including but not limited to
slipping, falling, tripping, contact with other participants, contact with native flora and fauna, the effects of the weather including extreme temperatures and humidity, and the
conditions of the streets, sidewalks, trails and park facilities, all risks being known and appreciated by me.
You May Be Filmed and Recorded. Upon agreeing to these terms, I also waive my right to intellectual property captured during the Zombie Scavenger Hunt and related
events on September 19, 2014. In doing so, I hereby give the event organizers the right to photograph, video record, audio record, and capture using any other media, my acts,
appearances, performances, writings, and utterances and to use any descriptive words or names, without limit for any purpose which the event organizers deem proper, in any form
of media, including photographs, DVDs, audio recordings, online media, physical media, and films. Said recorded media will be the exclusive property of the event organizers.
With respect to the above, I am relinquishing the use of my image and agree that I will not be receiving any monetary compensation for any appearance or assistance forthwith.
You Are Responsible For Your Own Actions. As I am choosing to participate in the Zombie Scavenger Hunt, I hereby state that I have read, understand, and agree to
the rules and that I am responsible for my own actions. I understand that no physical contact is allowed, and I agree not to touch other people and/or their property, or commit any
acts of violence, vandalism, littering, public intoxication, or drug use. As this is a family event, profanity and lewd behavior are also prohibited and are grounds for my removal
from the game. I also agree to obey all laws of the State of Arkansas, Carroll County, and the City of Eureka Springs.
