Maria” by Judith Ortiz Cofer pgs. 370 - 375
3. Answer Questions #1-8 under “Exploring the Text” on pg. 375 on loose leaf and bring to class.
4. Be prepared for a quiz on this selection.
Wednesday Jan. 5
1. Practice ACT will be administered to Juniors from 7:25 – 11:00
2. 1st Hour class will not meet today.
3. 7th Hour class will have a reading/work day in class.
Homework due Thursday Jan. 6
1. Finish The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (Chapters 33 – end)
2. Be sure to read the Afterward to p. 305 as well.
3. Padeia discussion sheet #4 is due at the beginning of the hour.
4. Come prepared to discuss – credit for participation in discussion in class.
