The Kite Runner Theme Connection Learning Objective Students will examine the first 7 chapters of The Kite Runner; highlighting significant quotes that they determine align with various themes. Finally, students will write a connection piece as to what they believe the author is stating about each theme given the quote that they supply. Themes On your own sheet of paper write down the following: In the first seven chapters of the novel, try to find at least one text detail per chapter for each theme. **Not all themes will show up in each chapter, but you should be able to find multiple themes within each chapter.
