November 29 workshop – Critical Thinking in the Classroom & Beyond, Fireside Room 1:00 to 1:05 Deborah will introduce the STARS program 1:05 to 1:15 Shira will lead a discussion on what students think critical thinking skills are (discuss at tables, then report out) 1:15 to 1:25 Shira will discuss handout with key elements of critical thinking as defined by educators 1:25 to 1:35 Joan will present data on CTE pathway assessment of reasoning skills, our themeyear SLO. She’ll talk about LAVC SLOs.
