Environmental Learning Center (PWELC). When we got there we split into three groups and went to go play initiative games at PWELC. After that we got in a big group again and played a big group activity. Then we ate lunch. After that we went to do three different classes (mammals, pond, and predators/prey). They were pretty fun! Then the bus came back and we went to Green Lake Bible Camp. We all went to our rooms to get settled. Then we went down to eat dinner. After that we all we up to our rooms and had some free time for a little while. Then the Bunde Praise Team came to do a praise & worship time. That was really fun! That was the BEST part praising our Father. After that we had a little free time. Then we went to the big room again and played games! Then, we had s'mores for bedtime snack. We couldn’t have them over a fire because it was raining. Then we had to go to bed. Day 2: We all got up, got dressed and went down for breakfast. After that we all went to PWELC to do more classes. This time we went to the farmsite there and did a lot of classes. Some of them were climbing wall, canoeing, survival etc……. At about 2:30 pm it started pouring, then thunder storming. We had to go back to the Bible Camp. Then the main PWELC guy, Cory, came and did “Trees” class. Then we did some FUN camp song and they were LOUD and AWESOME. Then after that around 5:30 we ate supper. Then we went outside and had a bonfire and played a FUN game of flashlight tag! It was fun! Then we had to go inside, shower, and go to bed. Day 3: We had to wake up early so we could eat breakfast and get to the farmsite for our last classes. We did GPS, compass, and survival. Then we did fire building and there was only one group that started a fire with ONLY ONE match then made hot dogs over it. The rest of the groups did it over the big fire. Then we took a group picture. Then sadly we had to go home! That was Science Camp!!!! Page 1

A Movie Review

Rio 2 is a great family movie featuring Blu, Jewel and their three children Bia, Tiego, and Carla. After settling into their new life at Blue Bird Sanctuary, Blu and Jewel are pulled into another adventure. After their friends Linda and Tulio come face to face with a wild blue macaw in the Amazon, Blu and Jewel, who are destined to meet these new birds, decide to take their kids to the Amazon. Blu, By:
as over protective as he is, takes extreme caution. While Blu flies over Brazil, Nigel, seeing Blu, decides to seek revenge on his foe with help from his henchman and henchwoman. He decides to go and find Blu. While meeting the blue macaws, Jewel finds out that the chief is her long lost father. Blu becomes jealous of Jewel’s childhood friend, Ricardo. While trying to impress Jewel, Blu decides to learn the ways of the jungle from Jewel’s father. While trying to find blue macaws, Tulio and Linda stumble across some illegal loggers trying to destroy the Amazon. The loggers take Tulio and Linda captive. Blu accidentally causes a turf war between blue macaws and red macaws. With help from Ricardo, Blu must save the Amazon. In my opinion you must go and see Rio 2. I give it By:

On April 26, the JO Volleyball girls had a tournament. The team had to play pool play first, and we got first in our pool, then the team played the actual tournament. The team won 5 out of 6 games. We got 83% and the only percentages above us were 2 teams that got 87%, but the team played more games. One team dropped out so we didn’t get to play as many games. Starting the first tournament, we are all kind of tired from getting up early to get there but we still had some energy. We lost the first set, won the second, and lost the tiebreaker. We were a little bummed that we had to go home, but we are confident that we will do better at the next tournament. On May 3, the 5th7th grade J.O. volleyball team had a scrimmage. We were very excited for it .The first game began. We started with the serve, we serve, we score!! The first game went great! We had won. We went on and won all of the other games. We played eight games. We played in hot gyms so we were a lot more tired then we would have been if the gyms weren’t so hot. We had so much fun! Everyone did a good job!!

Ellie Holcomb The Broken Beautiful The song The Broken Beautiful by Ellie Holcomb is a very catchy song. It is a family friendly song and has a good meaning. The chorus “ You can take broken things and make them Beautiful” means those that are broken can ask God to be in their heart and then they will be made new and beautiful. I like to rock out to this song a lot in my room. I recommend this song because if you are having a bad day and this song comes on it will surely brighten your day and make it beautiful.
