Through an audition process just two Maryland students are selected for this prestigious award. Last spring Matt selected two monologues for his audition, Macbeth, as an example of classical literature and A Boys Life by Howard Korder as an example of contemporary literature. Dr. Lautzenheiser created Attitude Concepts, Incorporated: an organization designed to manage workshops and seminars on positive attitudes and effective leadership training. In a lecture type seminar, interspersed with group activities, the students learned the importance of setting high standards of excellence, fundamentals of self discipline and effective communication principles.
