SPEED OFF THE STREETS – DRIVE YOUR STREET CAR
HSRCA HISTORICS
6 HOUR RELAY
Would you like to drive your street car around Wakefield Park? Come along with your car, be it a Porsche or Mini, and take the opportunity
to have a fun day at the circuit. All you need is a helmet, long-sleeved shirt and long trousers all of which must be of non-flammable
material (no nylon). With a tidy car you could be on the race track in a matter of minutes, testing your car to its limits in a safe and
friendly environment. It’s the easiest way for you to become a race car driver today. There is no need to pre-register.
The ever-popular HSRCA historic meetings feature twice in 2015. Not only do these events attract historic race cars from all over
Australia, they are supported by around 150 local competitors. These events are a must for spectators, with a variety of magnificent
racing cars and a true display of racing history on offer.
Wakefield Park’s 2015 6 Hour Relay will be staged over 2 days. It continues to be a fun event for club level motorsport participants.
Each of the participating Clubs puts together a team comprising of 4 – 6 cars that participate in a regularity format, which rewards
the most consistent lap times.
XTREME RIDE DAYS
Wakefield Park offers a unique opportunity to ride your bike on a real race track, no matter if this is your first day at the track or you’ve
been racing for 20 years. Wakefield Park and Xtreme Ride Days have teamed up to offer ride days throughout the year. The days have
been uniquely designed to cater for all abilities and all types of bikes from Harleys to the race-bred R1.
Xtreme Ride Days only allow a maximum of 25 riders per group so pre-registration is a must.
Xtreme ‘Race Your Mates’ Track Day Challenge is a racing concept that caters for A&B and C&D graded riders as well as Ride Day punters.
A&B and C&D graded riders will only race each other on the day, while the Ride Day Punters will have their own separate races. The days
are designed for novice racers and first-timers, with practice starts and double-grid spacing. It’s a great way to get started in racing.
G.E.A.R
The Golden Era Auto Racing Club is a group of true motoring enthusiasts who assemble at Wakefield Park with their 1950’s and 60’s
cars for some casual racing and good times. The GEAR club has one of the strongest followings in NSW motorsport and the mateship
displayed at these events is almost as impressive as the cars competing. One of the flagship events is the re-enactment of the first
Australian Grand Prix that was hosted in Goulburn in 1927.

MRA RACE MEETINGS
Fun is the name of the game at the MRA (Motor Racing Australia) race meetings. With diversified cars and an emphasis on racing
for fun, but not for sheep stations, the MRA mini meetings are one of the most popular forms of racing in NSW. They are the perfect
place for people who are just starting out and want to enjoy a day of door to door motor racing without out all of the hassles of major
competition. The four rounds at Wakefield Park in 2015 will be certain to draw capacity fields.

The event is modelled on the highly successful events which are held annually at Winton and Phillip Island, and is ideal for car clubs.
SHANNONS NATIONALS
The Shannons Australian Motor Racing Nationals return to Wakefield Park in 2015. The Shannons Nationals run at a number of circuits
throughout Australia, such as Queensland Raceway, Mallala Raceway, Phillip Island, Sandown and Winton, giving the event a truly
national image. This series gives an opportunity for categories such as Production Cars, Sports Racers and Formula Ford to travel
around Australia.
AUSTRALASIAN SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP
VALVOLINE WAKEFIELD 300
Originally run as an annual event for production cars at its sister track Winton, in the 80’s and 90’s, the Valvoline Wakefield 300 was
first run in 2007 and hosts a wide variety of machinery.
The 2015 Valvoline Wakefield 300 will be headed by performance and sports cars including Mitsubishi Evos and Lotus Elises, along
with a strong contingent of Mazda MX5s and tiny motorcycle powered Future Racers, Minis, BMWs and many others.
Wakefield Park will host two FX Superbike rounds in 2015 bringing with it the excitement of head to head motorcycle racing on the
2.2 kilometre track. These events provide for a variety of classes including Superbikes and Supersports, offering a wide range of
entertainment for the spectator. The events offer lots of excitement during the day and will be telecast nationally through the AVE
Television group across a number of TV stations.
The 2015 Valvoline Wakefield 300 will take place over 137 laps. The event will pit driver combinations against each other with the added
excitement of a fuel stop taking place during the race.
NSW MOTOR RACING CHAMPIONSHIPS
AASA NSW CHAMPIONSHIPS
Wakefield Park will again host three rounds of the NSW Motor Racing Championship during 2015.
The AASA style of racing is fast growing in popularity, and in Victoria there is a state championship run as a series, but for the NSW
championship it will be decided over two days on one weekend. The outright and class winners of all categories will be awarded state
championship winning trophies. Consistency will be the key to becoming a state champion as it will be decided by a pointscore over
each race, so it may not necessarily be awarded to the driver with the fastest car.
You will be treated to action packed racing from a variety of regular categories such as Improved Production, HQ Holdens, Production
Touring, Formula Vee, Formula Ford, Sports Sedans, Formula Race Cars and Supersports.
STADIUM DRIFT
This year, through popular demand Wakefield Park and Raceline will host Stadium Drift weekends packed with the excitement of
drifting into crowd-thrilling competitions. The events will also feature team tandem drift sessions. Drifting has become a popular form
of motorsport and Wakefield Park has one of the best competitions on the circuit with Stadium Drift.
