Dear Mrs. Purcell,

Enclosed are the documents that constitute Professor Edward
Feigenbaum' s presentation at the Third Conference on Learning,
Remembering and Forgetting. They are: corrections to the
transcript, on white bond*, a one-page acknowledgement; three
pages of references; and another paper, "Elements of an Information Processing Theory of Memory," which Professor F igenbaum

Dear Dr. Feigenbaum,
We are writing with reference to your revisions to the transcript of
the Third Conference on Learning Remembering and Forgetting, which you attend
ed October 3 to 6, 1965.
"
When we sent you the transcript we asked you to let us have your revised
material, figures, tables, legends, and references by December 28.
So far, we have received neither your revisions nor word as to when we might
expect them.
As we explained at the Conference, participants remarks are inserted
into a "master copy" which is then edited, first, by the scientific editor,
in this case, Dr. Daniel P. Kimble, and second, by a professional editor. It
is of course, impossible to edit any material until the entire transcript
is complete.
We realize that you are extremely busy and that you may have had difficulty in finding the time to go over the transcript and amend your remarks.
We will appreciate it, however, if you will try to find the time in the next
few weeks to make the necessary changes and to send them to us, together
with illustrative material and references, no later than March 4.
Once again let me thank you for your participation in this Conference
publishing this volume.
and for your collaboration in the important task of publishing
volume
With best wishes,
Most
