NOTES
• Virtualization solutions such as VMWare and Windows Virtual PC can be used to operate Millennium
in a virtual environment. Contact Harms Software Business Solutions for more information.
• Millennium must be run on a Terminal server using Remote Desktop Services (formerly Terminal
Services) for networks with more than 20 computers. Additional Terminal servers are required for
networks with more than 25 concurrent connections.

• If Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 is used, the Terminal Services role must be installed
and Terminal Services Client Access Licenses (TS CALs) must be purchased for every workstation/
thin client that runs Millennium.
• If Windows Server 2008 R2 is used, the Remote Desktop Services role must be installed and Remote
Desktop Services Client Access Licenses (RDS CALs) must be purchased for every workstation/thin
client that runs Millennium.
• An additional 75 MB RAM should be allocated on the Terminal server for each workstation that runs
Millennium. For example, 20 workstations would require an additional 1.5 GB RAM on the Terminal server.
• Thin clients may be substituted for PC workstations. Contact Harms Software Business Solutions for more information
on the thin clients that can be used with Millennium.
