One of them said: “Malaking tulong ito sa aming mga maiiwan.” It’s a bit saddening that little has been done for our war veterans, who have life and limb for our country’s independence. At least our lawmakers are doing their best to help them, any way they can, to uplift their living conditions and that of their families. That’s why it’s good to know that public officials here in Central Luzon are also extending assistance to our war veterans, their spouses and their families. After all, we have a lot to thank them for. Paano raw ba nabigyan ng tamang emosyon ni Michael ang awitin, ibig daw bang sabihin nito, Michael has gone through such a thing? “Bago ko tinanggap, I went through the lyrics, at wala naman akong nakitang di ko gusto. I just sang the song the way like, that if that happens in my real life, yun din talaga’ng isasagot ko, sasabihin ko ring, di kami puwede dahil kaibigan ko lang siya.” So there! And speaking of Himig Handog, guest ni Michael ang dalawa niyang kapatid sa industrya na sina KZ Tandingan at Marion Aunor. Sa huli linked si Michael, kay Marion nga, but Marion herself told us na wala silang relasyon ni Michael. If they are clicking as partners, yun ay sa showbiz daw at never sa true life. Angel Locsin, Vilma Santos di magsasampalan During the concert, nagduet silang dalawa at kinanta nila yung Reason something bilang tanda ng kanilang initial partnership when they were both promoted sa Kris TV some months ago. After the duet, kinanta ni Marion ang Pumapag-ibig, another loser sa Himig Handog. He furthered that with the addition of the Clark site to TMC’s growing network of health facilities, TMC strengthens its serious bid for prominence in national and international healthcare. “TMC-Clark will serve as our flagship center for Central and Northern Luzon. In addition, being situated next to an international airport, the Clark location provides an excellent platform for building our international customer base,” Bengzon added. BBI officials are set to submit on Dec. 19 the complete engineering details of the theme park to CDC for their approval. “We have a legal obligation to finish the theme park in 2017 because we deposited $500,000 to CDC. If we fail to finish it on time, the money will be forfeited,” Alvaro said. This, he said, is on top of the $5.5 million that they paid in advance. Alvaro said the detailed engineering plan took time before it was completed because of a lot of preparations were made by the architects like the measurement of the soil component, as well as water depth, among others. He said the main archi- tect of the water theme park is Arch. Shyr-Fong Hu, a master architect on urban design who is also an architecture professor of Harvard University in the USA, while his local counterpart is Arch. Jonathan Gan of Gan and Associates in Manila. Likewise, Alvaro said the only five-star hotel to rise in Clark is 80 percent complete. Midori Hotel Clark, according to Alvaro, will open in Sept. 30 next year and it will be the only five-star hotel to rise in Central Luzon. “I already informed CDC about the opening of Midori Clark. Hopefully the hotel will be complete before the stated date, “Alvaro said. Hotel Midori will have 110 luxury rooms, 19 suites, and standard rooms that will have minimum of 40 square-meters floor area in a 2.4-hectare property, while the water theme park occupies 10 hectares. Hotel Midori Clark sits in a 2.4-hectare area located at the northwest section of the Freeport, beside Fontana Hotsprings and Leisure Resort. At present, construction work at the hotel now on a 24-hour basis. “Clark is no longer just about duty-free stores as it was known before, but a tourism destination,” Alavaro said during the forum. Alvaro said he is confident that the market will be good since “it is a fact that 40 percent of tourists visiting Hong Kong Disneyland are Filipinos.” “Now, there is no need to go to Hong Kong because the water theme park is comparable to any place,” he said.• NOTICE EXTRA-JUDICIAL SETTLEMENT OF ESTATE Notice is hereby given that the estate of the late ERLINDA SAGUN-AQUINO, consisting of a real properties described as follows: TCT No. 210505-R, Lot No. 1-K-2-A, Lot area (249, 549 sq.m.), TCT No. 206880-R, Lot No. 1143-B, Lot area (3,344sq.m.), TCT No. 211203-R, Lot No. 1260-D, Lot area (181sq.m.), TCT No. 198558-R, Lot No. 551, Lot area (150,230 sq.m.),all situated in Manibaug, Porac, Pampanga, TCT No. 62628, Lot 5, Blk. 10, Lot area (300 sq.m.) situated in Angeles City, Pampanga, TCT No. 185799, Lot No. 1986-B-1-D, Lot area (21,446 sq.m.), TCT No. 185800, Lot No. 1986-B-1-B, Lot area (490 sq.m.), and TCT No. 191408, Lot No. 137, Lot Area (24,912 sq.m.) all situated in San Manuel, Tarlac, Tarlac “has been the subject of EXTRAJUDICIAL SETTLEMENT OF ESTATE, among their heirs as per Doc. The mayor said the Capitol has provided backhoe equipment while the municipal government provided the fuel as counterpart. Mayor Naguit said the sharing agreement between the Capitol and LGU of Sto. Guagua Mayor Dante Torres disclosed that for more than 20 years, the San Jose creek in Barangay Natividad going to Betis remained silted resulting to perennial floods in various communities. “But now, with e the open-handedness of our provincial government led by Governor Pineda and Vice Governor Delta and Angie Blanco of the PDRRMO, we will no longer experience what we had experienced from the past years especially during rainy season,” Torres said.• drug traders... from Page 2 Duldulao said the operatives confiscated eight pieces of plastic sachets containing shabu and another plastic sachet containing marijuana leaves with fruit- ing tops. Floodwaters went up to neckdeep in most areas, forcing massive rescue operations, while others took the risk and went up to roofs of their houses to safety. There were only few areas particularly on mountain side of Barangay Gordon Heights, Mabayuhan and East Bajac Bajac which have been spared from flooding.
