General Terms & Conditions For All INTI
Scholarships And Bursaries (“Award”)
(Excludes Financial Aid and Other Loans)
Eligibility Requirements
1) The award, unless specifically indicated, are open to Malaysian citizens only.
2) Applicant must only use the latest (current year) official result to apply for all INTI awards
with the exception of the following:i) INTI Chairman Award, INTI Secondary School Teacher Recognition Award and INTI Family
Loyalty Award
ii) O-Level / A-Level qualification has validity of 1 year for INTI scholarship application
purposes.
iii) the official exam results have not been released.
3) Meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a
scholarship. It subjects to quota set by individual INTI campuses.
4) The applicant must fulfill the academic requirements, which varies from the type of
award indicated below.
5) The applicant is entitled to only ONE of the awards mentioned below and the award with
the highest quantum will automatically apply:(i) INTI Scholarship; or
(ii) INTI Bursaries; or
(iii) INTI Edu-Assist financial aid.
6) For further information on Edu-Assist, please refer to the Edu-Assist terms and
conditions.
Application Process & Supporting Documents
1) The applicant must complete the enclosed application form together with a copy of the
following documents:
(i) official exam results of the most recent examination; or
(ii) trial exam / forecast results duly certified by the school principal - where the official exam
results have not been released.
(iii) parent’s proof of income – Last 2 years’ EA Form / Salary slips for last 3 months, and last
2 years’ income tax form – Form B/ Form BE (for INTI X-Cellence Award and INTI Tertiary
Scholarship)
2) An applicant submitting the certified trial exam/forecast results (if applicable) should be
informed that:
(i) the award will only be granted if the trial exam / forecast result meets the eligibility
requirements;
(ii) applicants who applied using trial exam/forecast results will not be entitled to an upgrade
to an award of higher quantum if the official result is better than the trial exam/forecast
result submitted earlier;
(iii) applicants who applied using trial exam/forecast results will not be downgraded to a
lower quantum award even if the official result is lower than the trial exam/forecast
results submitted earlier provided the official results meet the minimum requirement of
5As (not including A-) in SPM, except for Foundation category, which required 3As (not
including A-) in SPM. The Scholarship amount disbursed in semester1 need not be
returned but the scholarship will no longer be applicable for the programme currently
enrolled in.
(iv) where the applicant’s official results do not meet the minimum entry requirements, the
applicant will not be entitled to enjoy the award and is required to leave the enrolled
programme
3) Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
Scope of the Award
1) The award is only applicable to payment of tuition fees.
2) In the event the tuition fees exceed the scholarship amount, disbursement will be
equivalent to the scholarship amount. If the tuition fees are less than the scholarship
amount, disbursement will be equivalent to the sum of tuition fees.
3) The award is only valid for the programme in which the applicant has enrolled in and for
the applicant’s duration of study at the INTI campuses in Malaysia. In the event the
applicant changes programme or transfers to another INTI campus in Malaysia, the
scholarship may be terminated, subject to the approval of INTI.
4) The award is disbursed based on the length of the semester (short/long), course
load/credit/subject. The award for A Level is only applicable to 3 subjects.
Non-application of the Award
1) The award is NOT exchangeable for cash or other alternatives.
2) The award is exclusive of other fees and charges such as application, registration,
resource, assessment and franchise fees to partner university (where applicable), all of
which must be borne by the successful applicant.
3) The award is not transferable within the other INTI campuses which are a part of the INTI
International University and Colleges network. A request for transfer is subject to the
approval of INTI.
4) The award is not applicable to the applicant’s period of study at overseas partner
universities or participation at any semester abroad programme.
Obligation of the Award Recipient
1) Once awarded, the recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student and must continue
to be a student at INTI for the duration of the programme.
2) The recipient is responsible to :(i) make timely payment of fees in line with INTI policies and procedures, failing which INTI
reserves the right to take necessary action, including suspension/termination of the
award. Reinstatement of the award is also subject to the discretion of INTI;
(ii) comply with all applicable rules and regulations stipulated by INTI;
(iii) maintain the required academic achievement, failing which the award may be suspended
for the subsequent semester. In such an event, the recipient must pay the full tuition fee
to continue with the course in the semester where the award is suspended (“Suspended
Semester”). There will be no refund of fees paid by the student for the Suspended
Semester. The award may be reinstated for the subsequent semester provided that the
award is still valid, failing which the award will be deemed terminated;
(iv) take part in student activities or community projects specified by INTI and where
required, INTI reserves the right to involve the recipient in media activities such as
interviews, advertisements, photography or other related activities for the purpose of
promoting INTI as a leading private higher educational institution.
(v) contribute up to a maximum of 40 hours per year of their time to assist INTI in marketing
and promotional activities, peer counseling, extracurricular activities, and other
administration work as notified by INTI. Failure to comply with such requests without
reason/s acceptable to INTI may result in suspension or termination of the award.
Termination of Award and Other Important Notices
1) The award will be terminated upon completion of the normal prescribed study period of
the programme enrolled in and will not extend to any additional period including resit(s)
and semester abroad programmes.
2) The available awards are limited and vary depending on the individual INTI campus.
Hence, interested and eligible applicants are encouraged to apply early.
3) INTI reserves the right to terminate the award if the applicant does not comply with the
rules and regulations stipulated by INTI, including the terms and conditions mentioned
herein.
4) The above constitute the general terms and conditions for all INTI Scholarships and
Bursaries. INTI reserves the rights to change these terms and conditions and will
communicate all notices of such change to the applicants by any means including the
following; electronic mail communication to the email address on record, publication on
a prominent site of the college/university notice board or INTI website.
5) All decisions made by INTI are final and binding.
Other Specific Terms & Conditions
A) INTI-Laureate Merit Scholarship
1) Award recipient must achieve and maintain the following academic requirements to
continue enjoying the award:- Full passes in all subjects and the applicable GPA/required average below:
• GPA of 3.33 or average of 70% for recipients entitled to a tuition fee waiver of 50%
or more.
• GPA of 3.0 or average of 65% for recipients who are entitled to tuition fee waiver of
less than 50%.

1) Award recipient must achieve and maintain the following academic requirements to
continue enjoying the award:- Full passes in all subjects and the applicable GPA/required average below:
• GPA 3.75 for recipients who are entitled to a tuition fee waiver of RM15,000 per year
• GPA 3.60 for recipients who are entitled to a tuition fee waiver of RM10,000 per year
• GPA 3.50 for recipients who are entitled to a tuition fee waiver of RM5,000 per year
• GPA 3.30 for recipients who are entitled to a tuition fee waiver of RM3,000 per year
2) All short listed candidates will be required to attend an interview with INTI and will be
notified of the date, time and venue of the interview.
INTI INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE SUBANG (B85N 113)
D) INTI Sports X-cellence Scholarship
1) Applicant is required to show proof of a minimum 2 year participation at state/national
level competitions preceding the application date.
2) Once awarded, the recipient is required to :(i) attend regular trainings and represent INTI at sports competitions (relevant to their
previous sports achievement) as notified by the Student Affairs Office. Failure to comply
with such requests without reason/s acceptable to INTI may result in suspension or
termination of the award.
(ii) achieve and maintain the following academic requirement to continue enjoying the
award:- Full passes in all subjects and the applicable GPA/required average below:
• GPA of 2.0 or average of 50%.
3) All short listed candidates will be required to attend an interview with INTI and will be
notified of the date, time and venue of the interview.

INTI Chairman Award
Only applicable to Malaysian citizens who are Bumiputera. The term ‘Bumiputera’ is
defined by the Federal Constitution S160(2), S161A(6)(7)+(6)(b), Aboriginal Peoples Act
1954 (Act 134) and Government Agencies.
2) The Bumiputera applicant in receipt of other award/scholarship/bursary (except for PTPTN
Loan Schemes) from other private and/or government organizations shall not be eligible
for this scholarship.
3) The award is only available for studies at INTI campuses located in West Malaysia.
4) Award recipient must achieve and maintain the following academic requirements to
continue enjoying the award:- Full passes in all subjects and the applicable GPA/required average below:
• GPA of 2.0 or average of 50%

General Terms & Conditions For All INTI
Scholarships And Bursaries (“Award”)
(Excludes Other Financial Aid / Schemes)
Eligibility Requirements
1) The award, unless specifically indicated, are open to Malaysian citizens only.
2) Applicant must only use the latest (current year) official result to apply for all INTI awards
with the exception of the following:i) INTI Chairman Award, INTI Secondary School Teacher Recognition Award and INTI Family
Loyalty Award
ii) O-Level / A-Level qualification has validity of 1 year for INTI scholarship application
purposes.
iii) the official exam results have not been released.
3) Meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a
scholarship. It subjects to quota set by individual INTI campuses.
4) The applicant must fulfill the academic requirements, which varies from the type of
award indicated below.
5) The applicant is entitled to only ONE of the awards mentioned below and the award with
the highest quantum will automatically apply:(i) INTI Scholarship; or
(ii) INTI Bursaries; or
(iii) INTI Edu-Assist financial aid.
6) For further information on INTI Edu-Assist, please refer to the INTI Edu-Assist terms and
conditions.
Application Process & Supporting Documents
1) The applicant must complete the enclosed application form together with a copy of the
following documents:
(i) official exam results of the most recent examination; or
(ii) trial exam / forecast results duly certified by the school principal - where the official exam
results have not been released.
(iii) parent’s proof of income – Last 2 years’ EA Form / Salary slips for last 3 months, and last
2 years’ income tax form – Form B/ Form BE (for INTI X-Cellence Award and INTI Tertiary
Scholarship)
2) An applicant submitting the certified trial exam/forecast results (if applicable) should be
informed that:
(i) the award will only be granted if the trial exam / forecast result meets the eligibility
requirements;
(ii) applicants who applied using trial exam/forecast results will not be entitled to an upgrade
to an award of higher quantum if the official result is better than the trial exam/forecast
result submitted earlier;
(iii) applicants who applied using trial exam/forecast results will not be downgraded to a
lower quantum award even if the official result is lower than the trial exam/forecast
results submitted earlier provided the official results meet the minimum requirement of
5As (not including A-) in SPM, except for Foundation category, which required 3As (not
including A-) in SPM. The Scholarship amount disbursed in semester1 need not be
returned but the scholarship will no longer be applicable for the programme currently
enrolled in.
(iv) where the applicant’s official results do not meet the minimum entry requirements, the
applicant will not be entitled to enjoy the award and is required to leave the enrolled
programme
3) Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
Scope of the Award
1) The award is only applicable to payment of tuition fees.
2) In the event the tuition fees exceed the scholarship amount, disbursement will be
equivalent to the scholarship amount. If the tuition fees are less than the scholarship
amount, disbursement will be equivalent to the sum of tuition fees.
3) The award is only valid for the programme in which the applicant has enrolled in and for
the applicant’s duration of study at the INTI campuses in Malaysia. In the event the
applicant changes programme or transfers to another INTI campus in Malaysia, the
scholarship may be terminated, subject to the approval of INTI.
4) The award is disbursed based on the length of the semester (short/long), course
load/credit/subject. The award for A Level is only applicable to 3 subjects.
Non-application of the Award
1) The award is NOT exchangeable for cash or other alternatives.
2) The award is exclusive of other fees and charges such as application, registration,
resource, assessment and franchise fees to partner university (where applicable), all of
which must be borne by the successful applicant.
3) The award is not transferable within the other INTI campuses which are a part of the INTI
International University and Colleges network. A request for transfer is subject to the
approval of INTI.
4) The award is not applicable to the applicant’s period of study at overseas partner
universities or participation at any semester abroad programme.
Obligation of the Award Recipient
1) Once awarded, the recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student and must continue
to be a student at INTI for the duration of the programme.
2) The recipient is responsible to :(i) make timely payment of fees in line with INTI policies and procedures, failing which INTI
reserves the right to take necessary action, including suspension/termination of the
award. Reinstatement of the award is also subject to the discretion of INTI;
(ii) comply with all applicable rules and regulations stipulated by INTI;
(iii) maintain the required academic achievement, failing which the award may be suspended
for the subsequent semester. In such an event, the recipient must pay the full tuition fee
to continue with the course in the semester where the award is suspended (“Suspended
Semester”). There will be no refund of fees paid by the student for the Suspended
Semester. The award may be reinstated for the subsequent semester provided that the
award is still valid, failing which the award will be deemed terminated;
(iv) take part in student activities or community projects specified by INTI and where
required, INTI reserves the right to involve the recipient in media activities such as
interviews, advertisements, photography or other related activities for the purpose of
promoting INTI as a leading private higher educational institution.
(v) contribute up to a maximum of 40 hours per year of their time to assist INTI in marketing
and promotional activities, peer counseling, extracurricular activities, and other
administration work as notified by INTI. Failure to comply with such requests without
reason/s acceptable to INTI may result in suspension or termination of the award.
Termination of Award and Other Important Notices
1) The award will be terminated upon completion of the normal prescribed study period of
the programme enrolled in and will not extend to any additional period including resit(s)
and semester abroad programmes.
2) The available awards are limited and vary depending on the individual INTI campus.
Hence, interested and eligible applicants are encouraged to apply early.
3) INTI reserves the right to terminate the award if the applicant does not comply with the
rules and regulations stipulated by INTI, including the terms and conditions mentioned
herein.
4) The above constitute the general terms and conditions for all INTI Scholarships and
Bursaries. INTI reserves the rights to change these terms and conditions and will
communicate all notices of such change to the applicants by any means including the
following; electronic mail communication to the email address on record, publication on
a prominent site of the college/university notice board or INTI website.
5) All decisions made by INTI are final and binding.

Only applicable to Malaysian citizens who are Bumiputera. The term ‘Bumiputera’ is
defined by the Federal Constitution S160(2), S161A(6)(7)+(6)(b), Aboriginal Peoples Act
1954 (Act 134) and Government Agencies.

4) The award is not applicable to the applicant’s period of study at overseas partner
universities or participation at any semester abroad programme.
Obligation of the Award Recipient
1) Once awarded, the recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student and must continue
to be a student at INTI for the duration of the programme.
2) The recipient is responsible to :(i) make timely payment of fees in line with INTI policies and procedures, failing which INTI
reserves the right to take necessary action, including suspension/termination of the
award. Reinstatement of the award is also subject to the discretion of INTI;
(ii) comply with all applicable rules and regulations stipulated by INTI;
(iii) maintain the required academic achievement, failing which the award may be suspended
for the subsequent semester. In such an event, the recipient must pay the full tuition fee
to continue with the course in the semester where the award is suspended (“Suspended
Semester”). There will be no refund of fees paid by the student for the Suspended
Semester. The award may be reinstated for the subsequent semester provided that the
award is still valid, failing which the award will be deemed terminated;
(iv) take part in student activities or community projects specified by INTI and where
required, INTI reserves the right to involve the recipient in media activities such as
interviews, advertisements, photography or other related activities for the purpose of
promoting INTI as a leading private higher educational institution.
(v) contribute up to a maximum of 40 hours per year of their time to assist INTI in marketing
and promotional activities, peer counseling, extracurricular activities, and other
administration work as notified by INTI. Failure to comply with such requests without
reason/s acceptable to INTI may result in suspension or termination of the award.
Termination of Award and Other Important Notices
1) The award will be terminated upon completion of the normal prescribed study period of
the programme enrolled in and will not extend to any additional period including resit(s)
and semester abroad programmes.
2) The available awards are limited and vary depending on the individual INTI campus.
Hence, interested and eligible applicants are encouraged to apply early.
3) INTI reserves the right to terminate the award if the applicant does not comply with the
rules and regulations stipulated by INTI, including the terms and conditions mentioned
herein.
4) The above constitute the general terms and conditions for all INTI Scholarships and
Bursaries. INTI reserves the rights to change these terms and conditions and will
communicate all notices of such change to the applicants by any means including the
following; electronic mail communication to the email address on record, publication on
a prominent site of the college/university notice board or INTI website.
5) All decisions made by INTI are final and binding.

1) Award recipient must achieve and maintain the following academic requirements to
continue enjoying the award:- Full passes in all subjects and the applicable GPA/required average below:
• GPA of 3.33 or average of 70% for recipients entitled to a tuition fee waiver of 50%
or more.
• GPA of 3.0 or average of 65% for recipients who are entitled to tuition fee waiver of
less than 50%.
