ISF Internationale Schule
Frankfurt – Rhein – Main
ISF is a member of the SABIS® Network, an educational
organization which manages seventy-seven schools and one
university in fifteen countries. SABIS® schools are distinguished by their implementation of the SABIS® Educational
System, a unique system of education, which for more than
125 years has offered a rigorous, internationally-oriented,
college-preparatory curriculum emphasizing the core subjects
of Maths and Languages. More information about the SABIS ®

OUR SCHOOL
OUR CURRICULUM
The ISF Internationale Schule Frankfurt-Rhein-Main – founded by
the city of Frankfurt, the State of Hesse, and multi-national corporations in September 1995 – offers world-class education from PreKindergarten through Grade 12/13. It is an independent, coeducational, whole-day school situated in the heart of the RheinMain region of Germany offering non-sectarian, English language
instruction.
ISF offers a traditional core college preparatory curriculum.
A third language is studied starting in Grade 6. Students who
complete their secondary education at ISF have the following
options of diplomas and/or external exams:

OUR GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from ISF requires a minimum of 22 credits* in
grades 9-12 as follows:






4 credits of English
4 credits of Mathematics
3 credits of Physical Sciences (General, Physics, Chemistry
or Biology)
3 credits of Social Sciences (Social Studies, History,
Geography, Economics, Business Studies, etc.)
3 credits of World Language (one of these must be German)
5 credits of Electives
* 1 credit = passing a year-long course which meets 3 or more times a week
0.5 credit = passing a year-long course which meets once or twice a week
Mandatory courses in Grade 9:
Art or Music, Physical Education, Computer Science, Advising/Health
