HOW TO ENROLL
Enrolling in the ERI Distance Learning Center takes just 5 minutes.
1. Open an Internet Explorer browser to www.eridlc.com.
2. Click on the HR Courses, HR Webinars, or HR Seminars tab at the top of the screen to
review our offerings and add items to your shopping cart.
3. Once you have made your selections, click on the Proceed to Checkout button in the
shopping cart.
4. In the Sign In box, enter your email address as a New Customer. Then enter a password
(of at least six characters), and click on the Sign In button.
5. Next enter your contact information, address, and billing information. After each, click on
the Continue with Checkout button. Review your selections, then click Place Order.
6. The next screen will serve as your online receipt and provide direct access to the online
courses and software products you purchased. In addition, you’ll be sent a confirmation
email with details for webinars and seminars.
You can access your online courses for the duration of your annual subscription by logging
into Your Account and clicking on the link to
your Digital Locker.

A closer look at ERI’s JCA Credential…
Becoming a certified Job and Compensation Analyst proves
your mastery of today’s most advanced compensation
administration methods and job analysis techniques. JCA
recipients must complete 50 JCA credit hours within one
year, via seminars, webinars, and online courses (whose
exams must be passed with a score of 100%). ERI expects
that no more than 500 JCA designations will ever be
awarded. This is the only national program available for
the accreditation of job analysts.

Assessor Series® Software
ERI Economic Research Institute is a world
leader in compensation survey data. Since
1987, it has published software and reports
providing salary and cost-of-living survey data
for 10,000 locations worldwide. Corporate
managers, over 80% of US Fortune 500
companies, federal and local courts, and
practicing consultants rely on ERI research
products to set wages, salary structures, executive compensation, and cost-of-living
allowances for employee relocations. As part of your course of study at the ERI Distance
Learning Center, ERI provides free demo versions of these Assessor Series software
programs. Available for download from the Instructions page of each course, these
programs provide you hands-on experience solving real-world compensation problems.
DLC Wizard
In order to speed up your learning experience, ERI offers
its free DLC Wizard® software to all users. This program
automatically loads all the resources needed to complete
each DLC course. You can download this program at
www.eridlc.com (see the Instructions page of any course).
Or you can order a CD-ROM version of this software
to be sent to you through the mail. Once open on your
machine, the DLC Wizard displays courses inside a virtual
picture frame. Buttons along the edge of the frame allow
you to quickly access research materials (such as ERI’s
Assessor Series software).
enhanced Dictionary of Occupational Titles
The enhanced Dictionary of Occupational Titles (eDOT)® is a job analysis software
program featured in several DLC courses. This job description database (available
on the DLC Wizard) provides detailed job descriptions and work requirements for
over 20,000 position titles. Its job analysis filters enable subscribers to pinpoint work
opportunities for individuals based on their job experience, education, interests,
and capabilities. HR professionals, career counselors, and vocational rehabilitation
specialists utilize this software for hiring, job placement, and transferable skills
assessments.

Online Textbook
ERI’s compensation and benefits textbook
is available free of charge online at
www.eridlc.com/textbook. This widely
used college textbook was rewritten by
ERI to incorporate technology’s impact
on compensation and benefit practices.
It is updated continuously so that, in
combination with DLC courses, it provides
the most timely education available.
Employment Laws
The DLC provides an employment law library of US and Canadian compensation laws
and regulations, including state minimum wages, FLSA, HIPAA, discrimination laws, and
more. International employment information is also provided, with links to country profiles,
exchange rates, cost-of-living data, schools, and embassies.
Glossary of Terms
One of the ERI Distance Learning Center’s most
popular offerings is its online business glossary
found at www.eridlc.com/glossary. This free dictionary defines more than 2,000 compensation and benefits terms, and can be accessed from any course by
clicking on the Glossary link in the left-hand menu.

provides cross-references to hundreds of topics within our courses and online textbook.

ACCREDITATION ORGANIZATIONS
PHR/SPHR
All ERI Distance Learning Center online courses are approved for PHR
and SPHR recertification credit through the Human Resource Certification
Institute (HRCI) of the Society for Human Resource Management. Each
online course provides one PHR/SPHR recertification credit. After you have
completed an online course, take its final exam for PHR or SPHR credit.
Upon passing the exam you will be asked to fill out an online evaluation form for the course.
Then you can view and print your certificate of completion from Your Account’s Training
History page. Submit this certificate to HRCI. For more information about PHR and SPHR
certification, please visit www.hrci.org.
CBP/CCP/GRP
The ERI Distance Learning Center offers online courses
that satisfy CCP®, CBP™, and GRP® recertification credit
requirements. Complete four DLC courses to earn half
a recertification credit or eight DLC courses to earn one
recertification credit. Once you have completed a set of at
least four DLC courses, please print out your CBP, CCP, or
GRP certificates of completion and submit them to the WorldatWork Society of Certified
Professionals to receive recertification credit. Credit approval is subject to their validation
and acceptance of Internet course material. For more information on receiving recertification
credits, see the WorldatWork Society of Certified Professionals website at www.
worldatworksociety.org.
CPE
ERI Economic Research Institute is registered with the National Association of
State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional
education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State Boards of
Accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for
CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to

CRCC
Selected DLC courses are pre-approved by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor
Certification (CRCC) to provide certification for professionals in rehabilitation counseling
services. The CRCC has certified more than 30,000 counselors in the United States
and Canada. Two types of certification are available: Certified Rehabilitation Counselor
(CRC) and Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CCRC). To find information about
