Special Sections in the Dining Commons Along with items on our menu, we also have two special sections in each dining commons which is dedicated to special diets. The Vegetarian Living Cooler is stocked with vegan items that are a great compliment to any meal. The Gluten Free Station has its own toaster oven and microwave so that Gluten Free items can be prepared in an area that is free of gluten. Entrée Cards Penn State Campus Dining uses many informational cards to identify the item, list nutrition information as well as common allergies. However, the allergen information is only listed if the item contains that allergen as an ingredient. It does not take into consideration the fact that it may contain an allergen due to the facility is was made in or the way in which it was produced. Therefore, it is imperative to use the menus provided, and not rely solely on the entré cards for allergen information.
