Women’s Retreat Please pray for those who have said “Yes” to the silent retreat here at St. Philip Neri on Sept 27-29th. These retreats are very powerful means of listening to God in our prayer and can do amazing things for our spiritual life. It's like taking a vacation with God. Youth in grades 9-12 are encouraged to participate in the 41st annual March for Life to end abortion in Washington D.C., Jan. 22, 2014. The 6day Diocesan pilgrimage is an extraordinary experience. Fr. Laframboise has helped lead the pilgrimage in years past and can testify to how great the trip is. The cost for at least two St. Philip Neri youth is being assisted by the Knights of Columbus, the Christian Mothers, and the parish. The remaining cost to you would be $300. If this is too great a financial burden, please talk to Fr. Laframboise. The cost is all-inclusive covering the airplane ticket, food, and other fees. See Fr. Laframboise for an application .The initial application deadline is October 18. In 2012 the Christian Mothers and the Knights of Columbus each gave $400 to the youth that went. Since 4 went, each child got $100 from each organization. This was for the trip in 2013. 40 Days for Life North Dakota: Fall campaign - Sept. 25 to Nov. 3 40 Days for Life North Dakota will kick off its fall campaign with an opening prayer service on Wed., Sept. 25, 9 a.m., at the state’s only abortion facility, 512 1st Ave. No. in Fargo.
