VILLAGE LIBRARY GRAND REOPENING
Sunday, September 30 at 2:00 pm
Thank
you!
We
appreciate and accept your
donations, in excellent
condition only, but
placing them into the book
return system or blue bin
causes an overload,
thereby preventing patrons
from returning library
materials. Donations are
accepted inside the
library. Donations placed
in the book return or
left outside the building
are discarded.
12th Annual
Rockland County
Storytelling
Festival
You are cordially invited to the Grand
Reopening and Rededication Ceremony
of the Historic Fowler Library Building
of the Haverstraw King’s Daughters
Public Library, 85 Main Street in
Haverstraw. Patrons, family, friends,
and donors, please help us celebrate the
beautiful new interior of Haverstraw’s
architectural treasure!
The Fowler Building has been on Main
Street since 1903, overlooking the
Hudson River at its widest point.
The King’s Daughters
Society built it during
the early days of the
public
library
movement. The interior
has now been restored, highlighting the
beauty of its woodwork, windows,
fireplaces, and view of the Hudson
River. It now has all the latest 21st
century technology.
Come celebrate with us on September
30th!
