POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS IN IMMUNOLOGY: UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO, ON, CANADA Postdoctoral positions are available immediately in the area of HIV Immunopathogenesis and Vaccine Research in the HIV Immunobiology Group at the University of Toronto/Mount Sinai Hospital. The University of Toronto is Canada’s premier medical/doctoral university and consistently ranks in the top 30 universities worldwide. The HIV program focuses on applied studies examining the immunobiology of HIV in human, animal and in vitro models through two Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR) Teams related to HIV immunopathogenesis and Vaccine Development respectively. The highly collaborative laboratory works closely with both federal retrovirology research labs as well as academic labs both within Canada and abroad. The successful candidate(s) will work on the development and optimization of novel vaccine vectors, antigens, and adjuvant approaches towards the development of an HIV vaccine. Both basic science and translational research opportunities exist. Expertise in virology, cellular immunology, and molecular biology are particularly favored. Interested candidates must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent doctoral degree and have less than 5 years postdoctoral experience in a related field and a record of delivering high‐
quality research. Applicants must have excellent English skills in written and verbal communication. Competitive salary commensurate with training and experience.
