PRECIOUS METALS CLEANING PLATE TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Safety Information:
• For sensitive skin, rubber gloves recommended
• Keep out of the reach of children
Directions
• Place the Nu-shine plate in a suitable non-metallic bowl
• Pour sufficient hot water to cover all the silver and jewellery to be cleaned
• Add one dessert spoon of household soda for every litre of water used and allow to dissolve
• Immerse all the articles to be cleaned in the water ensuring that they are in contact with the plate, either directly or through another
article
• Leave for 30 to 60 seconds with occasional movement of the articles. Use a brush to remove the stubborn tarnish and dirt. The tarnish
will have disappeared. Do not leave for more than 2-3 minutes.
• Remove the articles, rinse thoroughly with water and dry immediately with a dry cloth
• Clean the plate thoroughly with water after use and dry it with a cloth. Store in the original packaging for future use
• For cleaning bronze, copper or brass, add a large cup full of washing powder with soda crystals
