Welcome to Russell’s steaks, chops and more
Like any great work of art… our beverage menu was not an overnight creation, but
an unraveling masterpiece.
Our beverage menu has been prepared for your pleasure. We have created some
wonderful specialty cocktails, bringing the kitchen into the bar while also offering
some of your more classic martinis. On our wine section, we have a wide range of
grape varietals with many great values and some lesser-known artesian wines from
all over the world. We encourage you to explore new regions, or revisit familiar
favorites.
We are passionate and eager to guide you through our menu and recommend a
wine that we feel may best suit your tastes. The beverage offerings and wine menu
are equally as dynamic and are carefully paired with Russell’s menu. Although we
have made suggestions for food and wine pairings, we believe in drinking the wine
that will make you happy regardless of what you are eating. Thus, if you wish to
have a cool and crisp sauvignon blanc with your steak or if you wish to drink a big
and robust zinfandel with your fish, we are with you.
It is our pleasure to serve you. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance in
making a selection.
Thank you for joining us.

Arranged from crisp and light to big and yeasty. Lively bubbles are sure to give you a flip. Sparkling wines and
Champagnes are the ideal choice for aperitifs and a great choice when paired with our choices of appetizers, seafood
and lighter meats.
“I only drink Champagne when I'm happy, and when I'm sad. Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone. When I have
company, I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I am not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise I never touch
it – unless I'm thirsty." Madame Lily Bollinger

“Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down…,” said Mary Poppins, and though none of these
wines will remind you of cough syrup, they are proof that a little residual sugar is a good thing. Try these
wines with any of our seafood or white meat preparations. They match beautifully.

The purpose of wine at the table is to cleanse and prepare your palate for how good the food tastes. Therefore, wellbalanced clean finishing wines often create the best food and wine pairings as they taste great, but do not over power
(or under taste!) the food with which they are served. These wines are smooth, medium-bodied and very well
balanced. For those of you who do not care for red wines, these wines may be the best matches for the meats on our
menu because of their balance.

Sometimes drinking a wine that is just easy to drink is exactly what you want. These wines are exactly that: light,
refreshing and not a philosophical exercise. Good for a broad cross-section of the menu and for those who want to
pair red wine and lighter fish dishes. These wines are also good for beginning red wine drinkers.

We love to offer you these medium-bodied wines that have a smooth texture and are balanced by good structure.
Without a little backbone, a smooth wine can come off as just plain flabby. Try these wines with all sorts of
meats.

These wines are big, full bodied and quite complex; silky textures and complex flavors wrap around these elegant
wines. They should exhibit a bit of “soil” or a sense of place that exemplifies where they were grown. Try any of

Bursting with sweet ripe apricot, peach and pineapple flavors balanced by a little fresh acidity, these “stickies,” as
