History • Los Vaqueros president and trail boss at the time, Larry Ramirez, had the idea to start a ride that no one had ever made before; he wanted theirs to be the longest and farthest of any of the rides. • They decided to begin the ride in Reynosa, Mexico, at the Texas/Mexico border, crossing into Hidalgo, Texas, and continuing on toward the great city of Houston! • It has expanded into the group it is today thanks to a great deal of hard work on the part of the Ramirez family.
