Update Alert: Firmware updates are posted to the web on a regular basis. We recommend
that you check for firmware and/or install guide updates prior to installing this product.
Installation Guide
The XK09-NISS2 is an override OEM Transponder Immobilizer Via Data (No Key Required). Interfaces directly with the
latest models in Nissan & Infinity ignition immobilizer systems to provide seemless, safe and secure system integration
when adding an aftermarket remote starter. Dependable in all weather conditions, XK09- Upgradable Vehicle Interface
Solutions are the best option when reliable & secure remote starting is your goal.
IMPORTANT!
Ensure that the neutral safety relay is installed on this vehicle. It prevents the vehicle from being remote
started in gear and lurching forward, causing damage or injury. The wire colors sometimes differ from
model to model than what is specified in the installation guide. Please use the specific pin locations when
making these connections instead of relying on the wire colors.
ALWAYS TEST THE INSTALLATION ONCE A RELAY IS INSTALLED, TO ENSURE THE VEHICLE CANNOT BE
STARTED IN GEAR.

For 2009-10 models, a relay must be added to prevent starter damage.
Refer to pages 8, 9 and 6 for the IPDM-E/R wiring of a specific vehicle.
Refer to the Vehicle Wiring Reference Chart on page 8 to see where
the BCM and Intelligent-Key Unit are located in each vehicle.
Not required in D2D mode.
* The Tach wire is an optional connection required on some remote starters not supporting tach signal in D2D.
** Verify the Vehicle Application Guide on pages 2 and 3 to confirm that your vehicle supports this feature.
*** If the kit you have purchased does not include a 4-pin black harness to accommodate these wires, use a D2D or relay pack harness.
