Studied the application of work motivation theory to the understanding of innovation of scientists and
engineers engaged in R&D (1980–1981).
Examined the validity of a selection test battery and performed a psychometric evaluation of an attitude
survey for a steel company (1975–1976).
Investigated the effects of work–week length and work shift on absenteeism in coal mines (1975–1976).
Studied the correlates of job–bidding behavior in a steel company (1975–1976).
Graduate Research Assistant for police performance appraisal project funded by U. S. Department of
Justice. Developed behaviorally anchored performance appraisal scales using police officers from more
than 50 cities (1974–1975).
