SECTION A: COURSE COMMUNICATION I will use your SBCC Pipeline email address to communicate important information to you this semester. You should check your Pipeline email account at least once/day during the semester. Course documents and links will be posted at the course website, biosbcc.net/maupin (click on Biology 100: General Biology) 1. Go to the SBCC homepage, www.sbcc.edu. Click on “Pipeline” on the left panel. This will take you to the Pipeline login page. Sign in to Pipeline. If you have never signed into this system, you need to find your username and password. SECTION B: ACADEMIC INTEGRITY The following is taken from the SBCC Board of Trustees’ Policy on Academic Integrity: Santa Barbara City College believes that honesty is vital to the integrity of our College programs, our courses, within our entire College community, and especially in the classroom. Academic dishonesty will not be tolerated and appropriate action including discipline up to and including expulsion may be imposed consistent with due process. Click on “Learning Resources” in the left panel. Click on the “Cartwright Learning Resources Center” link to get to their homepage. In the left panel, click on “Teaching and Learning Tools.” Click on “Felder’s Learning Styles Questionnaire.” 1. Enter your name, fill out the questionnaire and submit the results. 2. Print out a copy of your results, and turn it in with this assignment. The results of my learning style questionnaire are included below. If you do not have a printer, you can indicate your score for each scale on my results chart, by circling your scores. Do not close your results window. You will answer questions about your learning styles results on page 4 of this assignment.
