More information is available at www.regence.com - About Us SUMMARY: The Chief of Staff is a direct report to the President, working on behalf of the President and the entire RIHC senior executive team. In addition, the role may also directly lead or participate as a strategic team member of ad-hoc process improvement teams, formed to jump start and/or recover necessary momentum relative to the execution of key strategic imperatives. The role leads RIHC strategic performance measures, future business growth initiatives, and reports related business results and outcomes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitates the process and related discussions to develop short and long range strategic and tactical plans, goals and objectives for the RIHC division Leverages a strong knowledge of key strategies, deliverables and priorities, and uses that knowledge to represent RIHC with a variety of internal and external audiences Collects, maintains and presents information on strategies and value proposition as well as the competitive landscape, risks and opportunities Aggressively work through policy and procedures to achieve results on time and within budget Drives tangible and measurable improvements of key processes through the leadership, training, and mentoring of a team of change agents Responsible for project execution and intervention; and maintaining momentum in order to meet approved project deliverables Position will require innovative and analytical thinking and will be responsible for performing root cause analysis, preparing and implementing action plans, and leading improvement initiatives Participates as a member of the RIHC Leadership Team, staging and leading offsites, executive staff meetings, regional all-employee meetings and virtual collaboration sessions of key project teams 230 West Monroe, Suite 2250 Chicago, Illinois 60606 www.carringtonandcarrington.com Tel: 312.606.0015 Fax: 312.606.0501 QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree preferred in Business or Healthcare Administration 7-10 years of business leadership experience that includes analysis, development, and execution of business strategies within a complex organization (preferably in the healthcare industry) or equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams (direct reports and/or project teams) Strong influence, communication and facilitation skills with all levels of the organization, especially with diverse teams of c-level executives; including the ability to resolve issues and build consensus among groups of various stakeholders Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, identifying key business issues and opportunities, creating business strategies and driving results across internal teams and/or external partners Proven business acumen including understanding of market dynamics, financial/budget management, data analysis and decision making Proven ability to manage complex projects and processes and lead change across a variety of stakeholders to deliver results with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience.
