The Ryerson Energy & Natural Resources Association is a project oriented organization that
uses on-campus partnerships and fundraising activities to minimize administrative expenses
and focus funds on delivering successful value-driven endeavors. Resources provided from

events, annual competitions, and industry workshops. Proceeds are also directed towards the

CAREER FAIR

RENRA is committed to providing opportunities to gain extensive
industry work experience. In partnership with the Ted Rogers School of
Management Careers and Employment Centre, RENRA hosts industry firms
for a career fair oriented towards enthusiastic students interested in pursuing
opportunities in the energy and natural resources sectors.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER SERIES

RENRA, working with the Economics Management Science Course Union,
is hosting academic and industry professionals for a speaker series that
features debates and discussions of modern energy and natural resources
topics that affect today’s Canadians.
CASE COMPETITION

In collaboration with the Ryerson Commerce & Government Association
and Ryerson Speech & Debate Association, RENRA is presenting a
competition for students to explore and apply their business skills in cases
relevant to this eminent Canadian industry. Whatever your academic
background, RENRA welcomes all to this full-day event that highlights the
industry and provides participants an opportunity to engage with experienced individuals.
INDUSTRY NIGHT

This invitation-only event is one of the most highly anticipated evenings
of the academic year. Attracting top student talent, award-winning faculty
members, and distinguished industry professionals, RENRA’s Industry Night
delivers outstanding networking opportunities for all attendees.

AFRICAN SOLAR
African Solar aims to empower developing nations in Africa by
providing schools access to renewable solar energy resources. In June 2014,
Tanzania was chosen as the pilot country in which to conduct initial studies
and initiate developmental action.

In partnership with Canada’s top employers, RENRA is committed to
providing students opportunities to gain extensive work
experience within the energy and natural resources industry. These
opportunities will enable Ted Rogers School of Management
