Chinmaya Institute of Technology, popularly known as
ChinTech, was established in 2002 under the auspices
of the Chinmaya Mission as part of its Golden Jubilee Project. The institute offers regular post graduate
courses Business Administration (MBA) and Computer
Applications (MCA). The institute is affiliated to the
Kannur University, recognised by the Government of
Kerala and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Placement
The institute has a Training and Placement Cell headed by Dr. S.M.
Harikrishnan for MBA and Ms. Jeena for MCA. The ICT enabled cell
has been efficiently carrying out multifarious activities like placements, summer training, industrial visits, seminars, students counselling etc. Not withstanding the fact that most students of the
institute are fresh graduates, the Placement Cell strives towards
their Employability Enhancement by grooming them in aptitude
test and interview skills.
The placement cell consists of five faculty members and six student executives. Regular meetings and brain storming are done
on an ongoing basis towards making the placement efforts successful.
PLACEMENT PROCESS
Companies are invited to the campus for taking part in the placement programme on dates which are mutually convenient. Companies are requested to make offers on the campus itself. Hence
they are required to come prepared for the same.
GUIDELINES FOR PLACEMENT
Biodata containing the detailed information of students would be
made available to the company and the joint campus placement
process can be arranged by the cell.
The company may decide to deliver a pre-placement talk prior to
successive stages of selection.
As per convenience, company may conduct written test/ group
discussion/interviews in the campus.
Companies may confirm the final selection of the students while
on campus or at the earliest possible date.
Job offers and response shall be routed through the placement
office otherwise specified.
