THE HOME DEPOT FOUNDATION LOGO USAGE GUIDELINES The Home Depot Foundation sets strict guidelines for the use of its logo to protect the integrity of its brand. Please follow these guidelines when using The Home Depot Foundation logo and only use the files that accompany this document. All materials that incorporate the logo must be approved by the Foundation prior to use. The Home Depot Foundation logo use guidelines The logo consists of two parts — the mark and the word “Foundation”. None of the elements can exist alone and they must always be treated in the same manner. No elements should be added to the logo. The proportions cannot be changed and the type cannot be modified. Logo file formats Files are available in PNG, JPEG, EPS and TIFF formats. • PNG is for in-house printing, Word and PowerPoint documents. PNGs are similar to BLACK & WHITE VERSION JPEGs but more compatible with Microsoft Office. • JPEG are also for in-house use. • EPS is usually preferred for professional printing. • TIFF is sometimes needed for professional printing. Logo color • The 2-color version of the logo consists of PMS 165 (orange) and PMS 561 (green). • The 4-color process (cmyk) version of the logo is: orange: c0 - m60 - y100 - k0 green: c79 - m0 - y55 - k38 • Black and white versions of the logo are available. DARK BACKGROUND VERSION • When printing The Home Depot Foundation logo over a dark or orange background, use the “dark background” version with the white outline and white type. Background The Home Depot Foundation logo may appear over a continuous tone of color that sufficiently contrasts the logo. The logo is never to appear over an image. When printing The Home Depot Foundation logo over a dark or orange background, use the “dark background” version with the white outline and white type. Positioning The logo must not be placed too close to other information. Margins at least equal to the diameter of one window pane must be left clear around the logo.
