Please join us for our 14th reunion gathering, this time in the Washington, DC area. As the hotel costs seem to
rise continually, we were able to negotiate a best available rate of $140.00 + Tax and the dates for the reunion
are shortened to 3 nights.
We will be staying at the Best Western–Iwo Jima, 1501 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22209. This is the same
location we used for the Return of TEAM BREAKER (2005) and subsequently – L/Z DC #2. Taxi Service in the
Arlington area is excellent using text Messages assistant.
Please make your hotel reservation ASAP: before 4/8/2016, as our blocked rooms get released. A
reservation after this date is on available rates at the time of booking.

Credit card # will be required to hold your room. No advance deposit is necessary.
Cancelation after 5/8/2016- credit card will be charged one night.
For those attendees that have special needs, please let the hotel know while making the reservation.
A limited agenda has been proposed.
June 8 2016- Check in at 1700. Location will be posted at hotel.
June 9 Carpool to Marine Corps Museum, Quantico, VA or visiting the many sights that Washington
DC has available. As for carpooling, we will need to know whether you are driving and have room in
your vehicle for this trip, or you seek to ride along with another member. Departure time is expected to
be around 0900 Please note on the attached registration form your driving, /riding options,. It should be
noted that the Museum has been updated considerably since our 2012 visit.
If one chooses to visit specific venues in DC, I suggest contacting your Congressman and/or Senator
for VIP passes (front of the line benefit) ASAP (i.e.: House of Reps., Senate, FBI, White House, etc.).
June 10 0900 – Noon
Alpha Recon Meeting (location will be posted) – Members only.
1300 - 1600 Top of the Town (TOT) luncheon, catered by R&R Catering. TOT is the same wonderful
venue we used for the return of TEAM BREAKER in 2005.
1830 - board bus (s) for the trip to the Marine Barracks 8th and I for the Friday Evening Parade

You can either go to the website to reserve tickets or send an e-mail. The 1st week of March is when
they start taking the requests.
