Research is conducted with an emphasis on increasing psychotherapeutic response for persons with emotion processing and emotion regulation difficulties. John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Graduate Research Assistant Aug. 2013 – Present Supervisor: Peggilee Wupperman, PhD Research examines the efficacy of Mindfulness and Modification Therapy, a transdiagnostic psychotherapy developed for clients with dysregulated behaviors (e.g., eating disorders, substance abuse, aggression, etc.). Aid in reviewing therapy sessions for therapist adherence. UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA Anxiety Disorders Clinic, Research Assistant Jan. 2011 – May 2013 Supervisor: Deborah Beidel, PhD, ABPP Research examined cognitive-behavior therapy practices for clients with anxiety disorders (primarily social anxiety, selective mutism, and phobias). Aided in diagnostic interviewing, experimental psychotherapy provision, psychological assessment, behavioral assessment, physiological data collection and analysis, behavioral coding, and data entry.
