MS. MAGAZINE
NOW offers a limited-time opportunity to get a free subscription to Ms. Magazine – an award winning feminist publication with thoughtprovoking stories on everything from pop culture to world affairs.
If you are currently a member, a donation during those months to receive Ms. Mag is
NOT a renewal.
RENEWALS
We encourage active members to renew their membership through National NOW with the correct form. We include a business reply envelope with every renewal notice.
If your chapter does collect a renewal payment, you must send the full amount to the National
Action Center so that your rebates can be apportioned correctly between National, State, and Local entities. This is required by NOW policy.
EMAIL RENEWALS
We offer the chance to renew online and through our email renewal notices. You receive an instant receipt of your renewal through our secure server and allows us to save money on postage, printing, and processing costs.

POLICY : National NOW is to list the date of when the membership dues were received by National on a membership card. The bylaws (Article X, Section 2, Part A) state that a member’s anniversary date is based upon when their membership was first recorded in the national records. We do add notes to members’ accounts if, for example, their membership was received earlier by a state or a chapter so we can capture that information in our records.
VOTING : Additionally, the credentials committee can determine if a member is eligible to vote based on when the membership was first received by national or the state/chapter as stated in Article VIII,
Section 2, Part A of our bylaws. We always recommend to those members who are eligible, and want to serve as delegates that they bring proof of membership with them to conferences. If the members attending have a copy of a canceled check (both front and back) or a credit card receipt showing dues paid to a chapter, then the credentials committee will likely rule that they are eligible to run.
