LINCOLN MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY
TRANSFER REQUIREMENTS
Nursing (BSN Option)
This program does NOT lead to an Associate from Pellissippi State. Students who wish to earn an associate's degree and the bachelor's degree
should follow the articulation agreement in Nursing. Students completing the listed courses will meet the general education requirements for the
Caylor School of Nursing BSN Option, which is more of a traditional program, yet accelerated over time. All courses below, excluding the
LNCN courses, MUST be completed prior to starting the nursing program. Students may complete the courses during the summer prior to
beginning in the fall semester. Completion of these courses does not guarantee admission into LMU’s Nursing Program. Students must apply
and be accepted to both the university and to the Caylor School of Nursing. Students should check with the university and the Caylor School of
Nursing to determine application deadlines. Acceptance is substantially improved by a high GPA.
Persons holding a bachelor’s degree or higher only need to meet the general education requirements denoted with an *.
Note that course and admission requirements may change. It is the student’s responsibility to check with the Caylor School of Nursing
at LMU to verify all courses will transfer and are acceptable. This is especially true if the courses were taken at other colleges or
universities. See the LMU Catalog for more information on admission requirements for the university and for the Caylor School of
Nursing.
This checklist is not intended to replace your advisor. See a pre-nursing advisor in the PSCC Pre-nursing Advising Center in AL107 for
assistance in planning your coursework!
