More Announcements University seeks feedback from Penn State community on strategic plan Penn State is seeking feedback on its strategic plan from University students, faculty, staff and alumni. A draft of the proposed plan is available online and the Penn State community is encouraged to offer its thoughts through a simple online form. 21-gun salute planned for Veterans Day ceremony at Old Main A Veterans Day ceremony will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Nov. 11 at Old Main on the University Park campus. The Penn State community is advised that as in previous years, a 21-gun salute is scheduled to take place during the ceremony. Full story Two prescribed fires scheduled for Penn State's Stone Valley Forest in November Between Nov. 5 and the third week in November, the Forestland Management Office in the Penn State Department of Ecosystem Science and Management will permit the Pennsylvania Game Commission to complete two prescribed fires within the boundary of the Penn State Stone Valley Forest in northern Huntingdon County. More Events University Choir presents 'New Beginnings' Nov. 8 The Penn State University Choir will present its annual fall concert, "New Beginnings," at 4 p.m. Nov. 8 in Esber Recital Hall. The program features music by Handel, Elgar and contemporary American composer Dan Forrest. "Sine Nomine," a "Sine Nomine," a chamber choir of University Choir members, will also perform.
