Knowing what to study in each of your subjects can be tough, to help find the right materials for your courses the departments have put together lists of resources that you can use to help prepare for prelims and final exams. Many teachers will have issued you with revision materials already.
In each of your subjects you should have enough materials to allow you to study, practice
and prepare for your upcoming prelims and exams.
The departments have also listed where and when study support takes place. This is an excellent way to improve and you should use it where you can. If times clash, think about attending the subject that you need most help in. You could also go to subjects on alternate weeks.
You should also be thinking about a revision timetable for over the holidays.
IF YOU ARE NOT SURE WHAT TO USE TO REVISE THEN ASK YOUR TEACHER.

Due to the variation in texts that are studied, there is no generic resource that we would normally make available. However, individual teachers upload materials to the school website and issue support materials, as appropriate, which are relevant to task and text. Learners should enquire about what is available. Some teachers may also run
Edmodo groups which learners in their class will have been advised about.
We would normally direct pupils to any of the Higher or National 5 Past Paper or Practice
Paper booklets created by Hodder Gibson or Leckie and Leckie . Similarly, learners can enquire from their class teachers about specific study support materials that are relevant, such as the 'Language Skills' books produced by Hodder Gibson.
We would also direct pupils to the following websites:
BBC Bitesize
Spark Notes
Shmoop.com
SQA website
Other relevant websites as directed by class teacher
Learners can enquire about the availability of extra support and revision times with their
English teachers.
