About the Program
FIU's BHSA program is ranked as one of the largest
undergraduate health services administration programs in the country, and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The
program emphasizes systems engineering and financial management of health organizations, health services research, economics, politics and legal aspects
of health systems, and program planning and evaluation. Its curriculum prepares graduates to effectively
manage healthcare organizations within an everchanging, highly technological, multicultural world.
BHSA faculty member are leaders in their field, with
both deep academic knowledge in all areas of
healthcare and real-world practical experience.

Completion of University Core Curriculum or an AA
from an accredited State of Florida institution
2.5 cumulative GPA
Completion of the following prerequisite courses as
part of their 60 credit-hours of lower-division course
work and achieve a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA with
no grade lower than a “C’ in any one course for the
