Response Dear In regard to your email below, we have been processing your revised request received on 24 June. Our email dated 25 June below was an acknowledgement that we had received your clarified request, I apologise if this was unclear. In regard to your first two questions, the Commission does hold sales data in relation to the games and this is also made available on the Camelot corporate website. I have attached the latest available quarter of sales data which is publically available. This contains the weekly sales figures for both Lotto and Lotto Plus 5, including the average for the quarter (please see page 4). In terms of the numbers of players who pay by direct debit, we do not collect or record that information. I hope you have found this information helpful and I apologise for any misunderstanding. If you have any questions about this email, please contact me (if it is easier to do so by telephone, my direct dial is 0121 230 6618). If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision, you should write to Mark Harris, Chief Executive, National Lottery Commission, 4th floor, Victoria Square House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B2 4BP. If you are not content with the outcome of the review, you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the Information Commissioner will not make a decision unless you have exhausted the review procedure provided by the Commission. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at www.ico.gov.uk or the Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF. Kind regards Information Manager National Lottery Commission Request Thanks for your reply. I did ask the wrong question regarding the number of people buying a ticket. Silly me! What i need to know is: 1: the number of tickets sold on average per week for Lotto. 2: same for Plus 5. 3: the number of punters who pay by continuous direct debit. I have scoured the Camelot site you recommended for the above, to no avail. Where do i go from here? Thanks 22 May 2012 Camelot Quarterly Sales Figures Camelot today announced that sales for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2011/12 (25th December 2011 – 31st March 2012) were £1,673.0 million, an increase of £98.3 million on the same quarter last year.
