ACTIVITY
Ch. 3: ROAD SIGNS & SIGNALS
RECOGNIZING ROAD SIGNS, SIGNALS, & PAVEMENT MARKINGS
Do you know your road signs and signals? Do you know what each one means? How
quickly can you identify one when you see it?
This is important because when you’re out on the road you’ll have as little as a fraction
of a second to identify a road sign or signal that you see and determine what it means.
See how quickly you can recognize them with the enclosed flash cards.
Practice with the enclosed flash cards for about 10-15 minutes every day for the next
three-four days (or longer if you need more time). Then, when you feel you know them
like the back of your hand, complete the worksheet.
