Academic Requirements and Documentation
•Themajorityofprogramsrequirethatyouhavetheequivalenttoa
Canadianhighschooldiploma.
•Originalorcertifieddocumentsmustbesubmitted.
•AlltranscriptsandothersupportingdocumentsmustbeinEnglishor
havecertifiedEnglishtranslationsattached.
•Someprogramswillrequireadditionaldocumentationonceitis
determinedthattheacademicrequirementshavebeenmet.

•CanTEST: minimumof4.5inReadingandListeningsections;4.0inSpeaking

AllinternationalapplicantsmustdemonstratesufficientEnglishlanguageproficiencytomeetthedemandsofclassroominstructionandwrittenassignments
bysubmittingoneofthefollowingEnglishLanguageProficiencytestresults.The
followingareCollegeminimumEnglishLanguageProficiencyrequirements,howeversomeprogramsmayrequirehigherlevelsofEnglishLanguageproficiency.
Completedapplicationsareacceptedonanon-goingbasisandareprocessedon
afirst-come,first-servedbasis.Werecommendthatyouapplyat least six (6)
months priortothestartoftheprogram.Programshavealimitednumberof
spacesavailableforinternationalstudents.

Acceptancewillbeissuedtoyouoryouragent.

Study Permit: UsetheRRCLetterofAcceptancetoapplytothe
CanadianEmbassy,ConsulateorHighCommissionforaStudyPermit.
TheEmbassywillhaveotherrequirementsthatyoumustmeetinorder
togetthisvisa/permit.
NOTE:YoumaystudyonaVisitorVisaforstudieslessthansix(6)months;
however,ifyouwillbestudyinginaprogramthatislongerthansixmonths,
orifyoushoulddecidetocontinuestudiesbeyondsix(6)months,youare

RRC REFUND POLICY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Withdrawals Before the Start of Classes
Applicantswillforfeittheapplicationfeeandthetuitiondeposit.
Allotherfeespaidwillberefunded.ApplicantswhoaredeniedStudyPermits
willforfeitonlythe$100applicationfeeifrejectiondocumentfromthe
CanadianEmbassyorConsulateissubmitted.
Withdrawals After the Start of Classes
• StudentsareresponsibleforallapplicablefeesuptothedateaStudent
WithdrawalformhasbeenreceivedbytheCollege.Theeffectivewithdrawal
datewillbethedateaStudentWithdrawalformisreceivedbytheStudent
ServiceCentreandwilldetermineanyeligibilityforrefund.
• Withdrawalwithinthefirst7%(thefirstweek)oftheterm:refundof100%
ofthefeeslessnon-refundabledeposit.
• Studentswithdrawingbetween7-25%oftheterm(approximatelythefirst
month)willreceive50%creditfortuition,technology,labandmaterialfees.
NorefundsaregivenforStudents’Association,software,Endowmentor
StudentServicefees.
• Studentswithdrawingafter25%oftheprogramtermreceivenorefund.
Refundsarepayabletotheapplicantorthirdpartyonconsentofthe
applicant,andmaybesenttotheoriginatingeducationagent.
CHANGE OF STATUS
StudentschangingtheirstatustoPermanentResidentmaybeeligibletohave
theirtuitionadjustedforanyfuturetermsofstudyremainingintheirprogram.
Studentsarerequiredtosubmitacopyoftheirlandingdocumenttoinitiatethis
adjustmentandchangeofstatus.
