Objectives: -Students will receive Baroque quiz and project grades
-Students will begin discussing the Jazz unit
Standards: -Listening to, analyzing, and describing music
-Understanding relationships between music, other arts, & disciplines
outside the arts

Hand back the quizzes and projects from the previous unit

Begin discussing the jazz unit
o Go over the Jazz Overview PowerPoint and tell the kids we’ll talk about all
of this in more detail as we go through the week.
o Listen to a few examples of jazz music
o Take any questions the kids may have
