Suggestions for 2015

Publicize more among agencies (and earlier), official notice that the events
during the month are approved for individuals to attend, they should ask
supervisor to participate in activities. Provide info to HISYNC.

Focus on reaching families through the schools. Work at getting in to the
schools.

Acknowledge the work that our staff does

Measure participation numbers from other agencies

Incorporate other groups/npos in activities to expand the reach of “mental
health,” reduce stigma. Focus on education aspect of mental wellness,
friendship, and social inclusion.

Consider including afterschool programs (PALS, A PLUS), peer programs
(middle-high school), student councils, KEY Club
Suggestions for 2015

Utilize social media for positive change—contests for media (YouTube, Vine),
vote for favorites

