Ways You Can Help The Environment
• Limit time in the shower.
• Turn off water in sink when not actively in use.
• Use a water bottle instead of bottled water—carry a
reusable bottle (available at the UCSC bookstore)
and refill it.
• Turn off lights, appliances, and computers when
not in use.
• Use recycle bins located near all colleges.
• Do not dispose of batteries in the trash.
• In the dining hall, take only what you will eat—
remember you can always go back for more.
• Use both sides of paper; use recycled paper and recycle
what you use.
Thank you for doing your part!
