Students in good standing in our program are guaranteed financial support during normal residence (i.e., for 2 years in the MA program and for 3 years in the Ph.D. program). This funding package may consist of external and/or internal scholarships, research assistantships from a thesis supervisor, and/or teaching assistantships. Effective November 2010, the minimum level of funding offered to incoming students within normal residence is $16,000 per year. However, the average level of financial support for incoming students is approximately $20,000.
