You should study the related theoretical and lab course materials from your previous semesters before starting your industrial attachment. 2. Your behavior and manner should be appropriate so that it makes a good impression in the factory. 3. Conduct the training sincerely and regularly. Try your best so that the management is pleased enough to offer you a position in their organization after the training. 4. Your attendance will be checked during your viva exam. 5. You have to bring the filled up attendance report and factory evaluation sheet, duly stamped and signed by the proper authority. Business card of the evaluator should be attached with the reports. These papers are essential to attend the viva exam. 6. You have to bring your note book during your viva exam that you used during the industrial training. 7. You have to submit a report on the factory following the given guideline at the start of your viva exam both in hard copy and soft copy in compact disc (CD). It is urgent that you have submitted hard copy to the viva board and soft copy to your supervisor before the viva exam. 8. You should attach appropriate Textile samples (Yarn / Fabric / Labels etc.) in your report. 9. Hard copy of the reports must be checked and signed by your supervisor - before presenting to the viva board. (Additionally you can also submit a copy to the factory, where you have completed your industrial training.). 10. Remember - safety first. Study the safety rules of the factory at the beginning of your training. 11. Avoid wearing loose Apparels while you are inside a factory. 12. Don’t rush and be cautious while walking specially in a machine area and slippery floor. 13. Take special attention while you are near a machine or chemical. Mohammad Hosain Reza. Assistant Professor. Page 1 Daffodil International University Report writing guideline for Industrial Attachment: 1. You have to submit the report in Times New Roman (font size: 12) 2. Headings should be in bold letters. 3. The entire report should be based on your own work. You have to declare it at the beginning of the report. 4. There should not be any cut/ copy - paste in your report. 5. You should not add net based material in your report by cut/ copy - paste. You have to write the report by your own language from your own observations. 6. You have to acknowledge the references from which you have collected theoretical information for your report. 7. If relevant, you can add topics (with consent of your supervisor) not mentioned in the report writing template. 8. Number of pages mentioned beside the chapters and headings in the template are only for guideline. Consult your supervisor for this. 9. Remember you can not complete the report overnight. You have to start composing it part by part after you commence the Industrial Attachment. 10. You have to print and submit the copy of the report, to your supervisor, 7 days before the viva exam for finalizing it. 11. The cover / binding of the report should be deep green color.
