Daughters of the Nile
Dear Nile Members
I would like to invite you to join me on
a tropical cruise with Carnival Cruise
Lines to the Western Caribbean with
unique ports of call I hope will be new
to many of you. I searched and
searched for a cruise that will provide
new and interesting destinations to
visit combined with free time on the
ship to enjoy the many amenities the
cruise offers. I found it with Carnival
Cruise lines! Add to that a pre-cruise
night in New Orleans in the French
Quarter and you have a perfect winter
getaway.
Our three ports of call will be the Isla
Roatan in Honduras; Belize; and Cozumel. I’m particularly excited about
the Honduras and Belize ports.
It all adds up to a great time with your
fellow Daughters of the Nile friends. I
hope you’ll join me for a tropical getaway next March. There are limited
balcony cabins; make your reservations
early to book your choice of cabin.
Sincerely,
Marsha Sowers
Supreme Queen

Your morning is at leisure for you to enjoy
the French Quarter as you please. Transfer to
the Carnival Dream early this afternoon for

“dream” ship. Overnight (7 nights) - Carnival Dream
Roatan, the largest of the
Bay Islands of Honduras, is
noted for its pristine coral
reefs, beautiful beaches,
lush tropical foliage, and friendly people. The
island has a mountainous backbone that provides for some excellent hiking opportunities, panoramas and lush scenery. Surrounded by warm Caribbean waters, this
hilly island is picturesque, unspoiled and can
take claim to being one of the region's fastest developing destinations.
Day 6 - Belize - 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (B, L, D)
This tropical paradise promises adventure,
both on shore and off. Crystalline rivers flow

to a myriad of rare wildlife. Silky sand
beaches, waving palms, and colorful coral
gardens are just a part of Belize’s natural
wonders. The Kayo District is where you’ll
find an impressive system of underground
rivers and caves. Old Belize is about as
“Belizey” as it gets, featuring natural and
man-made history.
Day 7 - Cozumel - 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (B, L,
D)
Mayan myth claims that Cozumel was home
to the gods. Truly Cozumel is a place fit for
the gods, with its dazzling white-sand
beaches, Mayan temples, exotic jungle wildlife, and crystalline waters teeming with
tropical fish. Just offshore lay Palancar Reef,
considered one of the most spectacular
