About the Session
Alan will share over 25 years of office ergonomics research in determining what makes
a healthy workplace. As Director of the Cornell Human Factors & Ergonomics Research
Group (CHFERG), Alan focuses on ways to enhance usability by improving the
ergonomic design of computers and workplaces to enhance people's comfort,
performance and health in an approach they call Ergotecture. C h e c k o u t

About the Presenter
Alan is a Certified Professional Ergonomist and a Fellow of the International
Ergonomics Association, the US Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and the
Institute for Ergonomics and Human Factors (UK). He is also an Associate Fellow of the
British Psychological Society and a founding member of the International Society for
Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ).
