children. Sponsors receive bi-monthly updates on the Chain of

How Can I Help?
Chain of Love exists because of donations from individuals and
churches in Brazil and North America. We need your help to
maintain this vital ministry that has rescued Gabriela, Kateana,
and more than 180 others since its inception.

Fast Facts
• We accept children from birth to age twelve. Under normal
circumstances, they stay with us until mature enough to
function independently.
• We maintain group homes so homeless children can
live with caring Christian houseparents.
• We provide nutritious meals and loving supervision,
as well as moral and biblically based spiritual guidance.
• We teach, and expect the children to be: respectful,
responsible, and accountable.
• We design programs to provide a formal education
and assistance in career planning.

A tax-deductible receipt will be issued by the North American Baptist
Conference. Chain of Love will communicate directly with you regarding your

What We Do
Located in the southern Brazil city of Campo Bom since
1994, Chain of Love provides loving, secure, and caring
homes for abandoned and abused children and adolescents.
We meet their physical, spiritual, and social needs until
they are mature enough to function independently. Every
resource invested in this important ministry benefits them,
be it something as simple as gas for the church bus or
lights in the gym for after-school soccer.
Being “home” for nearly ninety
young people not only comes
with a lot of responsibility,
but a significant price tag.

This is Gabriela and Kateana, two very special young ladies
who are part of the Chain of Love ministry. Theirs was a rough
start… their parents died when they were young. When we
welcomed them three years ago they had little education,
were malnourished, and tended to be very quiet.
