Inequalities. High degree polynomials. Graphs, rational, logarithmic, and exponential functions. Systems of equations. Course Goals: This course is designed to familiarize the student with such fundamental mathematical concepts as polynomials, linear and quadratic equations, exponential functions, and logarithmic functions. Required Material: Required: College Algebra, by Lial, Hornsby, Schneider, and Daniels, Fourth Custom Edition with MyLabsPlus access code, new 8.5”×11” Bluebook/greenbook (books must be blank i.e. nothing written) for each test and the final exam, and iClicker2 Transmitter.
