Pg. 5 The Town of Rose Hill has a new website!!!!!! Visit them at: www.townofrosehillnc.com The Town of Rose Hill and the Rose Hill Chamber of Commerce are incredibly proud of the new entertainment pavilion and grounds in Rose Hill. The Pavilion, the largest outdoor pavilion in Duplin County, was constructed by Chamber member Clint Blanton Construction in 2012 and was used for the 2012 and 2013 Poultry Jubilees. The bands who have played at the Jubilee have all commented and made remarks such as, “This is the best venue that we have ever played”, “This is the best stage we have ever played on”, and The Breeze Band, who played at the 2013 NC Poultry Jubilee even wrote a letter to the editor of our local newspaper, stating how nice the stage was and how much they enjoyed their time in Rose Hill. This year the Town further improved the site by taking up the remnants of old tennis courts and replacing them with sodded grass. A new concrete dance floor was poured in front of the stage as well as concrete walkways around the perimeter of the stage. New aerial lighting was installed on the grounds adjoining the pavilion site making it a perfect place for an evening event. Chamber Membership Facts The results are in, and the facts show that when a business is active in its local chamber it is doing the right thing, not only for the community, but for its own success. A national study (The Real Value of Joining a Local Chamber of Commerce, ACCE, 2007*) reveals that membership in a local chamber of commerce can significantly boost a company’s image among consumers, as well as among other businesses. Just the Facts · When consumers know that a small business is a member of the local chamber they are 63% more likely to patronize the business in the future and 44% more likely to think favorably of the business. · When consumers know that a restaurant franchise, for example, is a member of the chamber of commerce, they are 50% more likely to eat at the franchise more often. · When consumers know that an insurance company, as another example, is a member of the chamber of commerce, they are 43% more likely to consider buying insurance from it. · When consumers know that an auto manufacturer, as a final example, is a member of the chamber of commerce, they are 9% more likely to consider purchasing their next car from that company. Obviously, both small local businesses and larger national companies benefit from the credibility and enhanced image Chamber membership brings to them http://www.zmchamber.com/Membership/Value%20Of%20Being%20A%20Chamber%20Member.htm Our 2013 Members Atlantic Heritage Four County EMC Register Well Company, Inc.
